Yamaha F150 stall going to neutral

My 2012 F150 stalls when going to Neutral in both Forward and reverse. If I slowly go to Neutral it’s fine.

Anyone run across this issue? I’m idling close to 800 rpms.

I have this happen occasionally with my 2000’ F115 however it’s the opposite it will stall if I go too slow into or out of gear like the neutral detection switch sticks. I had my local Yamaha dealership take a look and of course they couldn’t get it to do it but they cleaned and lubed the control... Time will tell

I dont have a shop manual to check. Maybe a switch or cable adjustment
