More HPDI oil pump information 11:57 AM 8/17/2007 Reply Edit

I just got an email from the service writer at Reeve's Marine. He went on-line and looked up this information for us on the oil pumps that need attention.

-oil pumps with s/n 60v10, 60v11, or 60v12 will need to be replaced with s/n 60v13

-oil pumps with s/n 60v0, 60v01, or 60v02 will need to be replaced with s/n 60v03

-oil pumps with s/n 6d000. 6d001, 6d002, or 6d003 will need to be replaced with 6d004

Ask your dealer to check service bulletin 02007-011.

That's all the information he sent me. I hope it helps some of you guys out.
Mine was one of the ones needing replaced too.

I did give this info to my dealer. He was able to confirm that I fall into the bulletin. He said it is a large range of numbers. They have had a few issues, but it is not widespread. ANyway, he is ordering me the new pump and they will replace it next week when it comes in.
