The boat has been moved to Dare Marina in yorktown Virginia and is available to be seen ant tested. Marina went through the boat and fixed all small things so it’s ready to be enjoyed.
I purchased this boat new in 2015. It was my second Parker that I have owned and this boat is substantially bigger then the 2310 I owned previously. I bought this boat to Cobia fish on the Chesapeake bay and the boat is a cobia killer with the big tower. Plenty of room for 2 people in the tower...
has anybody tried to insulate one of the storage areas under the seat. the 2510 has a livewell on one side and a storage area on the other. the storage area does drain overboard but I am thinking without insulation it would not keep cool long in the summer. not enough space for fish but...
I have a 2015 2510 and I have started to use it mostly for offshore use, either pelagic trolling or wreck fishing. The boat is great but I hate that there is no built-in fish box. I know there is the one in the back but it is small and not insulated. I have ended up bringing a large cooler a...
Thinking ahead a few years when I need to repower my 2510. Has anybody done a single to twin conversion with a bracketed boat? I know I would need a new bracket and controls. Maybe it would not make financial sense but I really like my 2510 but when I have 5 people, full of fuel and Ice it's...
I have a 2510xld with the f300 and it’s finr at drift. Really wide beam. I would get the twin 200’s as the 300 is bad on fuel and slow. My top end with the motor trimmed and flat conditions is 38. You may see 40 but that’s it. Loaded with fuel and gear in normal ocean conditions you will get...
I don’t know about the conditions of Erie but I have a 2510 that I use in the Chesapeake bay and ocean and it does pound in the short chop. You will need to slow down s little and use tabs. My recommendation if you are getting the dc is to get it with twin 200’s. I know you said it’s a demo...
Very sure what I said. My recommendation is that the boat owner calls Parker to discuss because a number of members have have issues and Parker believes it's the thru hull causing the problem.
As a public service announcement I am letting you know tha the 25' parkers are having issues with the thru hull transducers. You may want to call Parker to discuss. They have experienced excess spray on the motor. A number of members on this board have had the issue.
Yes bad customer service on the part of Parker. I purchased the boat new in 2015 and noticed the spray right away no changes made to the boat. After repeated calls to parker sending them a video of the spray (I made no changes to the boat other the having the transducer installed) Parker just...
I have a 2510 XLD with a cobia tower and I am thinking about towing it a few times a year to chase the bite. The tow would be about 150 miles each way. Maybe longer if I can quit my job and just fish :) . I realize the tow capacity on the F-150 is 10,000 lbs but its hard to imagine that it...
I have not found a solution to the problem. I have moved the motor, trimmed the motor to 6 bars, ran with the tabs up and down, ran it full of gas and half a tank of gas but there is a certain speed where the spray is just ugly. I wish Parker would just admit that there is a problem.
You might want to check on that. Most jurisdictions would tax your purchase price and treat the trade in as a down payment. Maybe it's different in your area.
