Well did u like anything I do dale or only like to point out the flaws that u think won't work. There has to be something u liked. Look over the boat after I post the pics.
You've done many things extremely well, like your glass work and helm modifications. But if you're looking for me to stroke you on each and every element well executed ... well, you got the wrong guy. I don't have that time for you or any other person on this board.

However, if/when I see something of concern that I feel should be pointed out, I sure don't hesitate to express my concern and opinion. I've saved many people lots of time, grief and expense and get over a dozen personal emails and/or PMs (average each week of the boating season) helping people outfit their craft.

I applaud your efforts and your rebuild. Your execution is well done! But when 2 or 3 of us seasoned boaters and owners address a 'design' concern, well - you might want to give it some thought. I'm sorry you take offense to that ...

The structure isn't off I will guarantee that and wish I could put it into ur hands picture don't tell everything it's going to take more than a 200lb man to rip this out of the roof plus know one is sitting up there there is minimal load I can't even move the thing with out moving the boat. If anyone knows load it's what I do for a living and I absolutely doubt it will get suck through or take a piece of the top with it unless I catch on to a low hanging branch which if I do u can say goodbye to the whole thing. Although u are the moderator and I'm sure have seen concerned and issues with a lot of projects happy to take ur advance know one is taking offense u have to have thin skin for that and I'm not built that way lol so mean while here are those spear guns and some art in my sons room.

the guns look good!! Are they all single band?
Sorry not trying to derail your thread here.

No no it's okay. It all goes hand and hand with the boat. They are all double band haven't made a single band yet and I was think about making a blue water gun.

Do you have the kicker to transfer the mounting holes?

It's gonna break the Powdercoating now.

Suggest some 1/8in rubber also. This is what Armstrong does, but they use something different.

I don't have the kicker but I wish I did cuz of that sense figured I just seal the holes but I also want to use it for my 13ft whaler so I don't know if I should mount it with all the bolts if it has clamp down or what. I guess I'll coming to that conclusion when I see it. But I do have the contact cement that I just bought today and a little thicker rubber that I got at work maybe 3/16. Your thoughts?

The Rubber is fine....Don't even think of putting that motor on without Bolts. Unless you don't like the motor?

The top's have wing Bolts and the bottom is Thrubolted. Swapping is going to be a PITA.

I couldn't wait to get the kicker off my boat....A good motor and SeaTow. :)

My brother got a deal on a small motor....Told him to get it bolted on. He didn't......It lasted 10min......Bye Bye.

Not such a deal after all. :(

Man what a different area brings! Sea tow? What's that? Not in this ocean. Coast guard only and it is reassuring when fishing for halibut or salmon in tight to the surf that u have a second motor to get u the hell out of there. It's very rare to see someone without a kicker over here. Plus if ur pushing 3mph with the big motor then I won't be able to troll for those fish. I need to achieve more so around 2mph. Putting the hours on the little motor is better then the big motor.

Two bolts isn't bad with a good impact gun but like you said its only a good motor if it's still on the bracket at the end of the day.

Well lets see.....gas weighs 6.5lbs per gal....X 148 = 962lbs

7400 - 962 = 6438lbs on mine. includes new DF-300 Suzuki

What is the dry weight on a 2530 mv 14 degree

You could call the factory with your HIN and ask them.

Here is an example of a "tripoded" antenna/radar/light/etc. mast for reference.

So it say a DV 2530 is 5000 your susi is 500 and is that gear that makes up another 1000 to 1500 lbs and/or equipment. Dale says his dry weight on miss teak is around 3500 without anything and that's mfg specs.

No trailer

I move her down to the dealer for the new motors
