    Which Search light to purchase?

Any recommendations on search lights? Roof mounted on my 2310, wireless remote would be great, but would likely just lose the remote, so probably would want to mount a controller near the other instruments. The go-light and some others seem popular.

    2007 USCG Vessel Safety Check

Got mine done several weeks ago. One of our boat club members is qualified to do it, and he couldn't have been more flexible with his time etc. in lining up the appointment. Hope this gives me some brownie points if I ever get "pulled over". He had some good tips on where to locate things...

    Splashed!

Dropped the Black Crow in her new wet slip down in NC this evening. I've had her three years but rarely trailered anywhere, which is why I never took boat and trailer back to Norfolk Marine to get them properly balanced. Norfolk Marine apparently didn't do anything but drop her on the trailer...

    My favorite "toys"

Here's a couple of pic's of my favorite toys! You probably know enough about the Parker, but the Jeep is a 1966 CJ5 that I've been working on for the past year or so.

Looking for a set for my 2310, thanks!

    2320 with F225

I guess it depends on your "need for speed". I have a 2310 and the F225 and it hops on plane quickly and cruises nicely and efficiently. I'm always thinking about what it costs to run these silly things - so for me the 225 is all I need.

    Price for a new 2120

Greatcir: What kind of portable heat did you install?

    New wet slip

Coszie, good to hear from you and nice to know my fellow boat clubber's are already looking out for me! I'd definately like to know who you use and what you have done each season. Should I have the bottom painted before putting her in this season? It's still bare fiberglass. How do you have your...

    New wet slip

I've been on the waiting list for a while, but just got word I can have a slip this season down on the Outer Banks. My 2310 has never been in a slip, so no bottom paint, no auto bilge pump, just the stock on all the time, or off all the time bilge pumps, using the switch. I need some advice...

How did your boat get its name????

I actually had the vinyl letters printed over the weekend for "The Black Crow". I'll get them on the boat as soon as it warms up. Funny story behind this. My father has been dead for nearly 18 years, but during his lifetime he limited my mothers buying to "just the necessities". Some...

MD Fishing Expo and Boat show

I'm planning on attending Upper Marlboro. Let's hook up and talk about a trip down to OBX. I'll email you with my cell phone number. You planning on going Saturday?

    Horizon 600G Windlass

I asked her about that, and she said while we can no longer get the 500G, they can, and they are still using it.

MD Fishing Expo and Boat show

Attended this show today in Timonium, MD. Saw and spoke to Robin Parker at length. Great Lady - makes me feel all the better for having purchased a Parker to know the kind of people standing behind the product. Nice lineup of Parkers in attendance.

    Horizon 600G Windlass

Looking at a Horizon 600g Windlass. It's 1-1/4" wider than the OEM Horizon 500G, does anyone know if this will be a problem fitting in between the cleats on the pulpit? Anything else I should know about this windlass to go on my 2310? The 600G is 7-3/8" inches wide, the dimension that would...
