I'm very interested in your project as well. I rewired my batteries a few years back, but its time to completely redo the entire electric system. The previous owner used too many non-marine connections and its a birds nest behind the front panel. Was thinking of doing it over winter.

I have a Parker 2520 and use it in North Florida. In the winter the pilothouse is the place to be. In the summer the pilothouse is the place to be. It makes both really hot and really cold weather more comfortable. If you add things like heaters, fans or air conditioning it gets even better...

Good idea! That may be a better option for me too. Those seats are expensive. I can get a coming pad for $90-100 and a cushion to fit my cooler for $100!
