    Trailer side Bunks, Pros/Cons

My Pacific Trailer bunk ladder is attached to the trailer with U bolts. They could easily be adapted, to an aluminum trailer. In the photo above the brackets appear to be welded to the trailer. Mine is a two part system, therefore the bunks can easily be removed with the brackets remaining. I...

    Trailer side Bunks, Pros/Cons

My side bunk support on the right rear has a ladder built in. This makes access to the boat very easy while it is on the trailer.

    Beautiful commute

Fishermans Bay was one of out favorites. We spent 18 days cruising the islands on our 2520. Next year we are going back up there and continuing up to Desolation Sound. We have July and August free for this adventure.

    Beautiful commute

That is a beautiful place. My wife and I spent some time there last July. There was a Parker on a dock north of the resort that was high and dry at low tide. Is that the same dock?

    Inexpensive, DIY ideas

I converted my SoCal fishing boat to a San Juan Islands cruising boat. I removed the bait tank and replaced it with a tool box giving us storage and a table top for cooking. I also made a dingy rack from two inch PVC for about $100. The dingy rack is held in place with a couple of ropes. so...

    Front bilge pump on 2520's

I had a broken thru hull fitting that allowed water into the starboard V-berth storage. That water drained into the forward bilge, it then was pumped into the storage compartment to the broken thru hull. Therefore my pump was just circulating the water. Replaced the broken thru hull fitting...

Water in starboard cabin storage locker

I have had two similar problems with my 2003 2520. The first time, I found the thru hull for the forward bilge pump was cracked allowing water in thru the fitting while in rough water. The second time, again in rough water, water would leak in thru the joint behind the rub rail. A bead of...

Engine cutting out at lower RPMS

I had the same problem for several years. After changing fuel filters, vst filter, a wiring harness and going thru 3 mechanics it turned out to be the throttle position sensor indicator was bad. Changed it out and has not died since.

    2520 xld w/ single Yamaha 300

My 2003 2520 came from the dealer with twin Yamaha 115s. I have owned it for six years and have been happy with this setup. I typically get 2.5 to 3.5 mpg and run at 25 kts at 4500 rpm. In Southern California the afternoon sea conditions don't allow you to go much faster.

    Wet carpet sidewalls

I bought a 2003 2520 from the original owner last February. Since then I have put 160 hours on it. It is an absolutely fantastic boat. I have one concern. In rough seas when we are pounding the swells pretty hard I get some water in the cabin. I gets the carpet wet on the side walls of the...
