    Long Overdue Hello

Hi Steve, I have not been on here in a while and thought I would see if you had joined in the fun and knowledge center here at CP. I am glad you are enjoying Passing Thru, I miss her but have had so many other projects going on that I have not had time to do much of anything. I just bought...

Hi what do you do when not on CP

I am now retired so I spend a lot of time playing in my new workshop. I was a truck driver for 32 years and then ran a motel here along the coast. I spent a lot of time away from home so now I am making up for it. It sure is nice to kick back at home and get up any time I want to. I walk my Lab...

The coaming pads are the kind that you fasten the hook to the gunnells and then hang the pads on. The measurements are 55" longx 6 1/2" top to bottom and they are 2 1/2" thick. They are in excellent condition and are offered to the highest bidder.

    2003 Parker 2120 Sport Cabin-Modified

I was just looking around and saw my original post for the retro-fit of my 2120 and couldn't believe it has over 9000 hits. This is a fantastic site and the members make it that way. I sold Passing Thru and delivered it to the new owner today and I have to say it was hard to let her go but the...

    BLOCK ISLAND

The next time you go over or if you ever anchor in New Harbor you can dive for Quahogs (Hardshell Clams) for a great clam chowder. When I owned my sailboats we used to go over about 5 times a year and raft up and go diving for clams and cook them up and one boat would always make a big pot of...

    BLOCK ISLAND

Lost Time, in Bryan's picture the Great Salt Pond is the body of water on the left and that is New Harbor and to the right of the picture is Old Harbor where you see the boats leaving from. Great Picture Bryan except you missed the Lighthouse

    BLOCK ISLAND

I like new harbor much better than old. The ferries from the mainland (where I live) come into OH and it is always hustle and bustle there. You will be better off in NH and just walk to downtown to all the restaurants and tourist spots. Lot to do there and some of the best striper fishing...

Just a thought Rangerjim, I have an alarm on my GPS that has anchor drag alarm on it and that may give you a better nights sleep

    2003 Parker 2120 Sport Cabin-Modified

I am selling her because I don't get enough time to use it like when I was a younger man. I want to get down to an 1801 so I can trailer it and keep it at home where I am only 2 miles from a ramp. The price is somewhat negotiable and if you have an 1801 lets talk. As you can see, this is a...

Camp on your boat? Give me your tips

Back in the days when I was a younger man and had sailboats in my life I did quite a lot of camping on my boats. One of the things we found out soon enough was that we were not eating right. We had the grill and made all the burgers, dogs and sandwiches but after a while they get old and we...
