I'm trying to find the "ear muffs" that attach to hose and go on the outboard water intake to allow starting motor on land. Can't find....don't know what to call this item. Help!

Unintended consequences! Now that my boat is in the water for the season, it seems that the weight of the motor plus 210 lbs. of batteries in the forward berth prevent the cockpit from draining properly. A full tank of gas is not enough to correct the problem. Back to the drawing board.....

I have completed the install of a 36 volt Rhodan with an 84" shaft on my 2520 XL SC and would be glad to text pictures to someone who can post them. It is mounted on the port bow about even with the windlass and folds down to storage position across the deck in front of the forward berth. I cut...

I'm installing a 36 volt Rhodan on my 2520 XL SC and have to remove a short section of deck railing. It's a little tricky getting the fit just right, but it will work.

It looks like the best way to install the Rhodan is on the port side bow approx 6" to the rear of the running light. It will require cutting out a short piece of the rail in order to swing the shaft down 90 deg across the bow to the storage position. Collars will hold the rail cutout in place...

I just bought a 36 volt Rhodan and am now contemplating how I'm going to install it on my 2520 XL SC. I'll post something when I figure it out. Phil

Thanks for the input. My fixed mount is 6" so the 25" shaft should be the right choice.

I'm going to put a Yamaha high thrust 9.9 hp kicker on my 2017 2520 XL SC w/ 300 hp Yamaha. Should I go with the 20" shaft or the 25" shaft? Thanks.

I bought a new 2520 XL SC with a free standing 2nd station and single Yamaha 300 from Boats, Inc. last year. It has a noticeable list to starboard....I assume they all do with the 2nd station...the deep V maybe a bit more. It probably floats level without the 2nd station. Such is life. I live...

The forward bilge pump on my 2017 2520 XLSC leaves a lot of water in the bilge that I remove with a plastic jug and a sponge. Don't like to have a constant puddle down there.

I bought my first Parker, a new 2520 XLSC in early fall of this year. After a few months of use, I had a bow thruster installed w/ Control sticks at the helm and second station. On windy days the bow is hard to control....a real challenge when backing into my dock slip.
