ran 75nm sse of shinnecock @31kts friday evening. Set up on the troll at 730pm in 500f. put 2 YF in the boat before dark. Took a 135# mako at night. up on the troll at 515am sat. released at least a dozen small YF and had a few more to 65#. covered about 250nm in 24hr.

Spent thurday night in the deep 7 miles south of the tails for some nice yellows. Never seen a calmer ocean 80+NM from land.

I think i have narrowed my search down to the lee's jr outrigger bases for my 25 parker. i dont know which poles to get. i am considering 19' single spreaders ($1000) or the 19' extra strong (AP3519XS) without spreader. or the 22' (AP3522) without spreader. Any suggestions, experience...

I am about to purchase a cat II epirb. I was looking at the ARC 2777.5. i see they have a model with rapidfix w/gps interface and one without. Can some one explain what the rapidfix w/gps interface and the benefits. Also, opinions on this unit.

I just purchased a 2003 2520xl with twin 200 HPDIs. It currently has aluminum props and was planning on replacing them with stainless props. Im looking for a prop to give me the best efficiency. any recommendaitons.
