I’ll update with pictures as I go. It’s a side project of mine so not too fast track right now. I’m setting up for light production on other parts right now. If anyone has some ideas of a need for aluminum parts please PM me. I’m open to ideas.

Thanks

That tank looks great. Nice fabrication

Thank you. It’s new welder so I’m getting used to it and it’s settings. I setup a new company and I’m producing rod trees. The tank is a side project of mine.

First off, nice boat. After going though all 28 pages on this project I'm tired just from reading. lol you have a ton of hours wrapped up into that boat. I have the exact same boat. I purchased it this past august from my uncle. 1994 extended cab with open back running a 2006 Yamaha F250 hardly used at 650 hrs. You truly have tackled that thing from one end to the other and very impressive work might I add. I was very fortunate to have picked up this boat from my uncle who has meticulously maintained it and has been garage kept for the last 15 years. after looking at all of your pictures and posts on the work you have done, the boat is identical in every way same table and chairs on port side and fresh water sink with capt chair on starboard, solid stern, both hatches in the floor of the cab, and the bracket on the rear. didn't realize how rare they were until I read your post. I'm located down here on the tip of the eastern shore of Virginia in a little town called Capeville with the Atlantic ocean on one side and the Chesapeake bay on the other. Beautiful work and beautiful boat. Spent years fishing the bay in my previous challenger and now with the parker plan on exploring the ocean a little more and doing some wreck fishing. Just wanted to leave some feedback and say your quote is hilarious "take a fish boating"

Thank you very much. It has been a project I’ve enjoyed working on and it’s been a great vessel to own. It fits my needs to a tee. Please post some pictures of your vessel as well. I love looking thru pictures to see what other owners have done.

Sharp looking. What kind of scuppers do you have for your deck drains?

when my uncle had the fourstroke 250 installed new in 06 with the added weight he couldn't keep water out of the stern while standing back there. so he had the scuppers filled and the deck drains into the bilge where he installed two bilge pumps. Not the best idea but there is never any water in the boat. I saw what you went through to move weight forward. sucks because I want to install a wash down pump.

The transom looked pretty clean so I was wondering where they were. Yes this model is very heavy in the rear. The battery relocation has helped but loaded heavy with gear and fuel it still can get a bit of water on deck. My next plan is to fabricate aluminum buoyancy tanks and mount them under the swim platform on each side of the tub to permanently solve the issue.

How does she do with the 250 hp? With my 225 I’m cruising about 27-29 mph at 4400-4500 and 39 mph at wot (light) usually that’s closer to 37 with gear. *calm seas of course. She’s no speed demon by any means but when it’s sloppy out I just bury the tabs and punch thru.

Honestly really haven’t tried it out. He ran it at 4800 and that’s kinda what I’ve stuck too. Trimmed out with just a couple people I wanna say I’ve seen 40 but definitely no speed demon. I’ve only put 20 hrs or so on it since I’ve owned it. I’ve got a few things I want to do to it. Upgrade the stereo, I want to put a tip out window on port side and install a windlass but this one doesn’t have a pulpit, so I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about that.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. It was a busy year for me. I started a small fabrication company and that took up a lot of my “free” time. Here are some pictures of a new rocket launcher setup I’m building for my vessel.

Here are a few other pics of some of what we built this season (sorry, this is not intended to be a promotional post). Other than the trees it’s all custom work. 90% aluminum but I have stainless capability as well. Here on the Great Lakes aluminum is more commonly used due to the lower price point than equivalent stainless products.

Will you manufacture towers for Parkers?

--

As much as I’d love to say yes i would have to pass on a tower build (second station style I presume). I am located in Michigan so locally the demand for towers is basically none and to ship an oversized structure may be cost prohibitive as well. I will build custom arches and have for some local vessels. Arches would be something we can build to spec and ship. This particular arch was kept raw and not polished. The owner is going to have it powder coated.
