2000 2520 deep or modified v?

Looking at a 2000 2520. Owner says it’s a deep v but the transom is open. I thought deep v’s came with closed transom and motor apron? I know they deep v’s have two lifting strakes “unsure of proper term” but the boat is in the water and I can’t tell.

Can anyone help me out?

Not nessessarliy. I had a '95...Med V - Full transom/Bracket.

Got a pix of the Stem area at the waterline?

Med = 1 rib bulge.......Deep = 2 rib bulge....Thats the easiest way to tell.
