2002 Yamaha 225 motor oil comming out lower unit??

A friend of mine has oil comming out of the weep hole in his lower unit? Has anyone seen this before?? It is a four stroke. I am on vacation using a iPhone so I have to keep it short.

Yes, 'if' that 'weep hole' is an EXHAUST hole. 4-stroke or not, combustion by-products are exhausted via the through-prop exhaust system and it could look like oil.

This is alot of straight oil. Half a quart in a 1 hour trip. Only out of the upper little weep hole.
