Hi,
I recently got a 2110 and it's a great boat I'm learning how to use. I understand the 2110 is the same hull as the 2120. Lots of good information here and I've put on a new prop and am looking at adding a permatrim. I have two questions. What mpg should I expect? When I get the permatrim on, should it be under water or just above the water on plane?

1997 2110, Yamaha 175 carb Salt Water Series II, one hole showing on top so mounted in 2nd hole.

Thanks for your help.

Honestly, I would raise the motor before trying anything else.
The factory and dealers always rig them too deep.

Mine was a 2520 with an OX66, but yours should get similar (good) results).
You can see where the factory rigged it, and how much I raised it.
Honestly, I think I could have gone all the way up.

BIG difference in performance with just this one little adjustment.

Thanks for your advice about raising the motor. maybe some 2120 owners will chime in too.
