Picked up the new fuel tank today, looks drastically better than the last. Still trying to decide what to do about a protection coat if one at all. I was thinking that when this tank fails from corrosion the boat will be probably be at the end of its life. Any thoughts on that?

He was going to cut the last tank open, if and when he does I’ll post pictures of it, we looked inside and it looked like it actually had baffles but they weren’t really attached…

I'm guessing you haven't read any of my write ups on this subject ?
Sure have, just about everyone, just thinking out loud that when this tank fails what type of condition will the hull be in? Anyway, the tank is at the bedliner place getting an epoxy coat and then a liner spayed. They stood by their previous lack of work and are redoing this one at no cost other than the material cost of the epoxy primer.

I could have sent you the half gallon of coal tar epoxy I have left over from mine.
