I notice that Parker didn’t include an anchor chock to guide the rode to one side of the bow.
I want to put a chock on the front of my bow to keep the rope off the anchor light and not hit my trolling motor.

pic 1 where I wanted to put it

I find it hard to access the backing because the locker is really far forward.

can I put screws and and 4200 on them?

I prefer to use through-bolts and backing plates with 'most' (all?) load-bearing hardware on our boats... But, imho (and I know there are qualified CP folks who will not agree), in this instance, with all of the load of the anchor rode being 'down' and 'horizontal'; (the load pushing down (not pulling up) onto the chocks, and with some horizontal load as the boat swings at anchor), I believe it would be fine to use large screws and adhesive with your chocks. I would not recommend screwing down chocks that are used with dock lines, where there is the likely potential for the load to lift the chock off of the deck (especially when the dock line/load is higher than horizontal; like in an area with tides, or at at a dock where there is no other option because of the configuration of the dock, in conjunction with the size/height of the boats gunnels, where the cleats and chocks would be).

EDIT: I thought I'd 'edit' and add another option. You could install an 'offset' bow anchor roller. It would likely need bolting and a backing plate, but since the holes would be further aft, it would easier to reach those from under the gunnel, than with the chocks. There are countless dozens of them on the market. 1655492557493.png

This is how my dealer installed chocks on my new 21SE. Not exactly sure but I’m pretty sure it was screwed and 4200.

Nice did you buy your boat from boats inc?

I worked with Zack.
