2310 Honda repower?

Hi, I am considering repowering my 2310DV with a 250 Honda. Anyone running a Parker with a Honda that can provide some insight? good, bad, ugly.

Not that I know of.....Honda took forever to come out with that 250. Honda builds good motors...But they really lagged behind in the HP race. Now that you've priced a Honda......Go price a Suzuki.

Geared Lower.....Swings a bigger prop. Timing chain.....Not a timing belt.

Not a direct comparison but I have a 2004 Honda 225 on my 2320. So far I’m pleased with it. I do wish it was 75hp more though.

I looked into the Suzuki also. Gear ratio is comparable to Honda. Only real difference I see is Suzuki having some more cubic inch. (26 more) Price wise the Honda is coming in much less so it's hard to justify for 26 cubes.
I wish these manufacturers would provide more up to date performance specs and include more popular makes and models. I can't imagine the performance tests from 2010 are the same as present day.
