Hi guys,
My carbed 1999 Y200 is getting long in the tooth and high hours...no real problems but looking to upgrade.
I am considering the F250 3.3l vs the F250 4.2l. The main difference that I see is that the 3.3liter F250 dry weight per spec is 608lbs. The 4.2liter F250 dry weight per spec is 562lbs.
Any recommendations or comments

Suzuki DF-300AP.

More streamline gearcase. For better fuel millage.
Timing Chain.....Not a timing belt.
Fly-By-Wire controls.
Swings Bigger prop due to Lower gear ratio.. [2.08 Suzzy] [1.75 Yamaha] Gets better bite.

Usually Suzzy's are priced about $3K cheaper.

Right now....Full of fuel, Livewell Full, Iced down. All Fishing gear and 6 people onboard.

2.1MPG 4000RPM gives me 25MPH......Top speed full of fuel w/ 2 people onboard is 42.3MPH.

Megabyte, Yes per the spec sheet on their website. The 3.3 is heavier than the 4.2
I will confirm that with a dealer

yesterday while running in some seas...... RPM change from 4000 to 4400....No change in fuel millage....Sped change was 25MPH @ 4000 and 30MPH @ 4400.....Still 2.1MPG loaded down.
