Well I am almost ready to buy my 1st Parker. I thought I would join now and start snooping around. My question is what kind of milage can I expect on a 28 XLD with twin F250's? No tuna tower. Thanks and I look forward to spending alot of time here.

I have the 2530 with twin 225s. I get 1.5 to 1.7 when cruising. im assuming youd be around there if not a little less.

Seems like they should offer that with a single 350.

That v-8 would be fine.

I have a 2006 28 with about 450 hours. all around gas mileage is 1.5 mpg.
on the troll expect 2.0, but in sloppy seas it will go down to around 1.2. It's still better than my 2510 with twin 2 strokes. BTW, I have the twin 250 4 strokes.

Harpoon,
They do offer it with a single 350.
I have the twin 250's and I get overall about 1.5mpg.

I have a 05 2820 with twin 250s. When I have a full tank and boat load of gear and 5 guys I estamate I'm at 5 tons I get 1.3 mpg @ 3800 on a nice day. If I have to use the trim tabs I will go to 1.1 mpg @3600. Its is also hard to plane out at less than 3500. Just let me know if you have anyother questions.

What type of speed could I expect with a 2830 with a full bait tank (100 gallons) and 4 guys aboard? The boat has a tower and twin 225's.

Thank you for the thoughts. 1.3 at what speed? What about at trolling speed? How much does a 100 gallon bait (800 #) make a difference?

Cruise would depend mainly on sea conditions, props, and weight distribution. But my boat loaded for the Bahamas which puts me over 10k pretty easy is around 1.2 or 1.3 at 22 to 35 mph because of my set up
