I was installing a new transducer and was wondering is 3m 4200 enough water protection on a small fastener bellow the water line?

Both my B175M and TM185HW were installed with 4200. No issues so far.

I’m interested in some of the others say on this topic.

I now use 4200 for anything under the water line. It is tough and has plenty of adhesive grip. My B175HW transducer is installed with 4200.

When I have used 5200 in the past, I found it is a stronger adhesive. Makes removal a bear if you ever want to remove a fitting. Transducers will get updated over time so better to plan for future removal.
