sweet fish, not to mention a sweet win. that many hours on the rod sure becomes a chore!

we keep a 2ton come-a-long in a vacuum bag (to keep it from rusting) on board. hook it up to a front cleat and tail rope the fish. the two times we've used it, it always works like a charm. we also have cut the cooler off the back of our swim platform and used the waves to help roll a 410 lb mako on to our swim deck length wise and just timed him up on that.
