After following the threads about onboard mounted battery chargers and more recently the installation of a third battery in another forum, I got to thinking about battery maintenance when I'm not on the high seas. So, I decided to install a battery charger. After doing some research, I chose the Guest 16102 Dual Output ICS Battery Charger, similar to the one installed on Megabyte.
Not having much room in the bilge with batteries, oil tank, fresh water tank et all, I opted to mount the control inside the P/H, extend the 12v wires back to the batteries, and mount the AC recepticle under the gunwale in the removable bulkhead panel behind the stbd steps.
