Bruce Claw anchor
Is the one for me
I anchor on a lot of ledges and the three claw is always on
And Is great in sand in mud never have to worry if its set and in
I use a stainless swivel and 16 ft stainless chain
No rust spots on boat

in the long island sound there are alot of rocks and train cars.hahaha so i thought it looked like a nice answer to a potential problem

Take your standard danforth style anchor, drill a hole in the back plate big enough for the shackle on the chain. Hook your chain to the back hole you just drilled, run the chain along the shank and zip tie to the shackle hole.
You now have a self releasing Danforth. When you get stuck motor over the anchor, when enough force is exerted to break the zip-tie the anchor pulls out from the back.
The real trick is finding the right strength zip tie.

This is what I use as well.It's a "Bruce"copy.
These are very popular around my parts for the same reasons you stated.
I use 25' of heavy chain,but no swivel...have'nt found one I like that has the holding power I want.
When I dive off the boat I want it to be there when I come back up.
Lots of current here,and quick weather changes.This anchor resets quickly,and I need that.
