awning

Have new used 25 parker, thinking about some type of awning, Sun shade etc. Kinda wish Parker had an overhang like the Maycraft. Any pics or suggestions.

I know that somewhere on this site is a photo of a boat (in FLA I believe), that had a custom canvas overhang that went about 1/2 way back over the cockpit.

It 'bumped up' just aft of the pilothouse for head clearance...

Definitely look at Grouper Jim's. It's an awesome idea, pops off in seconds to.

Macfern has a very nice permanent shade attached to his roof.....great design. I've also seen the standard Bimini attached to the PHs......but the hardware and bows take up a little room on the gunwale cap and can get in the way of fishing.
