Any recommendations on setting up a bunk trailer (the roller trailer fell through) for an 1800? Picked trailer up today and picking up boat on Tuesday. Based off the scematics I was able to set up the eye bolt to transom distance but not sure where to set the bunk width. The strakes are 40" apart, should the inside of the bunks be set at 40" apart as well? Putting the bunks just outside the strakes.
Thanks for all the help,
Zach

Today I replaced all the bunk bolts and moved the bunks outboard of the strakes, so 42” apart. Also added fish be foot side bunks…not sure if they’ll be useful or not.

Mine is set up pretty wide like that also. With the boards laying flat as opposed to on edge its pretty hard not to be close to the stringers where it carries the weight better without causing distortion. I've seen some intructions that advise to be inside the strakes but that seems narrow for our single bunk application.
