Hi All,

I feel like I'm missing something really obvious. I know the seat is slid up in this pic. In all the years we have had this boat we have never been able to sit here and navigate. I feel like it's way to high and far from the wheel. You need to awkwardly lean forward with nothing to rest your feet on and reach for the wheel. Your knees run into it if it's too close and it's still a bend to reach it. I stand and lean on it normally. I'm considering removing it and finding more of a leaning post. What am I missing?

(pardon the mess, just pulled it out of the water)

I hate seats like that....They are not comfortable.

It appears to be leaning aft to much....No REAL armrests.....The foot prop on the chair post is a waste.

I had fold down foot rest mounted on console. Fold up for standing room......Fold down for sitting.

Something like this, but mine were rare alum and made at Tower shop to my spec.

And a New slider.... Note: While expensive, this one has 7in of travel.
You want one that swiveles to get in & out of the chair easy with the full armrests.
