The new rage in Virginia Beach is little stand up towers on hardtops to help you spot cobia (and other fish, I guess, like black drum). Guys were using ladders, but the ever-present law enforcement started cracking down, so you see a lot of little simple tubing structures with, at most, a leaning post - no controls. Looks like a good idea for my 2320SC, but I would like it to be removable. Added benefit is that the grandkids could hold onto that instead of my antenna when they're diving off of the roof. Anybody done this?

no, but I do love the view from the roof. If I could obtain a removable, affordable tower I'd certainly add it to the list - the very long list.

if controls on the cobia tower are beyond budget...might be an idea to use low power walkie talkies or even better have an intercom system between the cabin and the tower...just a thought ....
