Convert 1993 2510 5.7 I/O

Hi I am new to site,
I am looking for any feed back . I want to convert 1993 2510 5.7 Volvo Penta I/O to
closed Transom with single outboard and bracket. Boat is solid.

Yep.... You can do that... It's been done on plenty of I/O boats. It's not cheap to do. It Will give you a LOT more room on the boat. It will also have better resale, provided it is done cleanly.

The boat market is shifting now more to a buyers market. I would not convert the I/O boat. I would look for new 23 footer which is a very large 23 footer with a bracket and is excellent use of space. Also, there are buyers out there for I/O boats so I could be a clean and quick sale , especially at a right price.
