Sad, especially after Kay's passing this year. Growing up in WB, the Crocker family has always serviced our boats. Bought a Grady and Whaler from them years ago and was glad to see them pick up Parker at the WB Location. Wonder what Newland will do now?

It is a sad day indeed when any well respected dealer closes its doors.

Sorry to hear this. I saw it on another forum and was hoping it was misinformation.

Parker is happy to announce our NEW North Carolina dealer!

Starling Marine with two locations, Wilmington and Morehead City, will be handling the Parker line. www.starlingmarine.com

Bill Rixey will head up sales in Morehead City. Starling Marine, Morehead City will open Monday, Nov 2 and can be contacted at 252-247-6667.

Bryan & David Starling will head up the sales in Wilmington. They can be contacted at 910-791-9860.

Starling Marine will partner with Gregory Poole Marine Power to offer service for Parker owners.

We are very excited about this new addition to our dealer network.

Congratulations to Starling Marine for securing the Parker line, and to Parker Marine for continuing its dealer presence in North Carolina! 8)

It is truly a sad day again. Mid Atlantic Marine (Parker Dealer) in Warsaw Va. closed its doors September 30. 2009. Our good friends at GE decided to call in the floor plan. Imagine, the Gov't lends them our tax dollars at Zero interest and they decline to lend it to a small business and close the doors at another boat dealership. How do you create jobs like that?

These are tough time for the marine industry.
GE needs a kick in the pants.
