Well, finally she's in the water just 2 days ago. In 6-11 I sold my 21 SE, was looking for a 23, but stumbled on this 1990 25 CC on Tampa Bay Craig's list. They don't make'm like this with a 14 degree deadrise anymore, perfect for the versatility I need in the Pamlico. So after some cals and some pics sent I took a leap of faith and had her brought up to NC. She was basically sound except some rotten wood on the bow, and some mild deterioratioin around the hatches. Otherwise the floor solid and the transom okay. The west system was already in place. I doubt the jump seats and bow seats are oringinal. Anyway she had about 9 coatss of paint flaking off the bottom and alot of other superficial work that needed to be done on the gel coat. I had the bottom repainted, the gunnels coated with new anti skid, the main hull buffed out, new rub rail, and the bow repaired professionally. Otherwise, I did all the filling, fairing and painting (awl grip 545 primer, interlux perfection top coat) on the gunnels, console, and leaning post, as well as placed some new hatches and re-sealed the old hatches myself. Had a new 200 4S, all new wiring, lights, electronics, etc done professionally. She drafts about 12 inches and will run approx upper 30's. See next post for finished product.
