DSC wiring issue

I am having a problem with hooking up my radio to my gps. I have a uniden 525 vhf and garmin 545s gps. I,ve attached the white from the radio to the brown gps wire and green from radio to blue from gps. a self test of radio states no gps attached. any help will be appreciated.

I'd be more than happy to help, but you've got to at least tell us what those wires mean.. blue, green, etc.. there isn't a standard for the color coding and every vendor does it differently. I'm sure this info is in your owner's manual.. if you don't have it, I'd bet the manufacturer's web site has one online.
