I'm looking for fillet board ideas.

I would like something large enough to carve a 25-40 lb fish. The challenge is to store the board in a location that will not be in the way. I do not want to store inside the pilot house.

I have a 2320 notched transom.

Thanks for any info.

I made mine out of scrap Corian. I keep it in the center rod holder on a full transom though. I also made it smaller than what you are looking for because I figure anyting large is going to be cleaned at the dock.

The only option I could think of for you would be to make someting the spans the transom over the motor. Hope that helps. :)

Take a look at http://members.cox.net/andertonm/parkframe.html and select the "cutting board" topic to see the board I had on my 2120. As you can see, it requires the installation of two sockets in the gunwale. We originally stored the board below the gunwale, but over time we just left it in place and it made a nice work surface for ?????

But - we have not re-installed it on our new 23. Why? Not sure. Time will tell.
