In the quest of adding more stuff into a finite space, I found this $17 solid aluminum bracket on amazon. I was pleasantly surprised by its sturdiness and design. The specs says it can handle displays up to 33lbs.

I had an old Dell 15” lcd monitor and 6-year old laptop that was gathering dust so I wanted to install it as a backup computer system. I have verizon mifi wireless internet so both systems can access the internet. The setup seems sturdy enough, but we’ll see how it stands up to the pounding. It can fold flat to the cabin wall or articulate as shown by the pics. I like the fit of this setup in this space and eventually I’ll get a tablet pc for it
