Hi,
What glue do you use on a hatch gasket? I have a 2110 with a minor leak from the hatch above the V berth. I know it could be the hatch bedding or the opening gasket and I'm replacing the opening foam gasket first. I've found the gasket material from Taylor, but what glue do you use? I want to glue the gasket to the bottom of the opening hatch frame like the original. Any advice on removing the old gasket?

Thanks

3M 8001. Any auto parts store should have it. If they have a solvent to clean up any oops, get a can of that too. There is a black adhesive too, but the 8001 always works.

8001 is Yellow.....It works well.....Just looks like crap. 8011 is Black.

And then there is contact cement that is brushable......thin coat on both rubber and contact area....Wait till dries then carefully stick it together.
