I switched to a 4 blade on my Yamaha 150 on my 2120sc, got it from Prop gods, 4 blade 14 x 14 stainless , Huge improvement in the hole shot, WOT RPM's have been raised from 5000 to 5600 and top speed is now 33.7 (gps)@ 15.7gph with 100 gals of fuel and gear on board, I weighed it on the sling 6000 pounds. It handles so much better in chop. Contact Ken at Prop Gods, he can help you select the right one.

I'm looking for a little more detail on your prop. What speeds are you getting in the 4000-4500rpm range? Have you ran for albacores with this prop yet?

I'm looking for a prop that works with an f225 Yamaha four stroke
What is the maximum RPMs for those Yam F225s? If 6,000, I myself would NOT accept max RPMs below 5800 at WOT. If the RPMs are still low ... have the prop tweaked!

Too low max/WOT revs will KILL a motor ...

I had this outboard on my 2310 Parker and your right 5800 to 6000 rpm's max is where it should be when wide open.
