Fuel additives

Picked the duck boat (Yam 40) this afternoon after having the carbs cleaned. Tech told me I need to ditch the SeaFoam and run Yamaha fuel conditioner and ring-free from this point forward with ethanol. I've only run SeaFoam in my 1801 w/2 stroke 115 and change the filter every spring.

Have I dodged the bullet thus far and what are you adding to your gas?

Stabil Marine formula and Yamaha's Ring free is what I use all season long. No issues so far. My fuel can be in the tank up to 60 days some times due to ability to get time for use and I try to get the tank as low as reasonable before re-fuleing. At the end of the season I drain and inspect, it has looked very good every season so far.
