Fuel Gauge 1801

I noticed wide fluxuations on my Fuel Gauge on my 1801. At times the gauge showed virtually empty, with the last bar blinking, then it read 4 bars? Anyone have similar experience?

It's the sender jumping up and down. It has a Float Arm style sender in it and as the fuel sloshes around the sender moves.

Pull the sender...... Measure the tank depth. .... Buy and install the proper length Reed style sender.
