While waxing the boat today, I noticed that there is one small spot on the port side hull where the gel coat has been completely rubbed off all the way down to the fiberglass due to shipping straps rubbing the side of the boat while it was being shipped to us in California from North Carolina. It is only a small spot about one to two inches long and about 1/4 inch wide. Is there a quick fix for this and is it safe to put the boat in the water with that little bit of fiberglass exposed? Thanks!
