I am retaining my Lenco actuators but replacing the 12X12 tabs with 9X24 bennetts. I received the 9X24s today.
When I went to line things up I realized the mount on the tab plate will have to be several inches ahead of where the 12" tabs were.
Since I am relocating the actuator anyway, is it going to function OK if I install the mount higher on the transom?
I am trying to think this out and can't think of a disadvantage in the geometry but I'm not 100% sure.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Dave

As long as you mount your new tabs flush with your bottom so they do not effect trailering or lifting out with the forks and you reposition your Lenco actuators to correspond with the new size tabs you will be fine.

Keep in mind though that you probably will not be able those actuators mounted exactly as they were on your transom. That means that you will have to fill and patch holes.
