On our trip we saw tons and tons of boats. Here are a few I liked:

A popular option in some circles. :)

Can you say....Ka CHING!!!

Yea... I couldn't afford the fuel it takes just to run his APU. :(
Can you imagine what the daily operating cost is for a vessel that size?

That one aquinnah posted was anchored just downriver from us this weekend. I took my FILs new 2510 down the damarascotta river and checked it out

I talked to a couple crews on big boys like the one with the chopper. They said it was a chore to keep up with the chopper maintenance (lotsa salt in everything) and same with the cars some of them carried. And the cars did not have local license plates in other countries so there were problems to solve before putting one on shore. Not as big a problem if the big boy stays on US waters.

One captain said he wished they made a big dummy chopper and a big dummy car so it would all look good but they would never have to try to use them.

Add the problem of having a good chopper pilot to land on a bitty space after not flying a lot in a month and it could lead to interesting landings. Maybe they hire the choper pilot locally? But $ can take care of a lot of heartburn and trouble.

They said biggest issue was not having a chopper or car fully fully working when "special guests" (president of France maybe or Putin or Paris or Brittney) were aboard as guests of the owner.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Pete
