I talked to a couple crews on big boys like the one with the chopper. They said it was a chore to keep up with the chopper maintenance (lotsa salt in everything) and same with the cars some of them carried. And the cars did not have local license plates in other countries so there were problems to solve before putting one on shore. Not as big a problem if the big boy stays on US waters.
One captain said he wished they made a big dummy chopper and a big dummy car so it would all look good but they would never have to try to use them.
Add the problem of having a good chopper pilot to land on a bitty space after not flying a lot in a month and it could lead to interesting landings. Maybe they hire the choper pilot locally? But $ can take care of a lot of heartburn and trouble.
They said biggest issue was not having a chopper or car fully fully working when "special guests" (president of France maybe or Putin or Paris or Brittney) were aboard as guests of the owner.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Pete
