koden radar

Hello,

I currently have and older raytheon r 10x radar which i have been thinking of replacing. the obvious choice is furuno, but, i have seen a few sights which offer koden. I have never heard of this unit and any feedback, positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. the koden is an expandable color display at a very cheap price.

cant say much, havent ever used the unit, but you see alont of Koden domes on commercial boats (usually as a backup to a furuno open array). dunno if thats because its a price point or if its for durability though.

Thanks for the feedback. I have not seen anyone my way using these units. I hate to be the test subject, but am very tempted to buy this unit based on price.
