My wife and I took our 2120 from Little Washinton NC down the intercoastal to spend the weekend in Beaufort NC. The trip was 84 miles and 24 gallons of gas running 30 mph. I was very impressed the the fuel economy of the Yamaha 150 FS. We grabbed a room in Beaufort for the weekend along with a transient slip. We boated down to Swansboro for lunch on Saturday and over to Oriental for lunch on Sunday. The trip back Monday put us in pouring down rain and 3 to 4 foot seas in the Neuse and the Pamilco. The pilot house kept us warm and dry. The boat was amazing. She has a big heart for such a little vessel!

We had a ball.

For any of you that would like to do a fun intercoastal trip, this is one that I would highly recommend.

3.5 mpg..at 30 mph? hold onto that boat motor combination, thats fantastic. Sounds like an enjoyable trip...

Very nice!
I hope to make an ICW trip like that after I retire. 8)
