Let me pick your minds for a minute. I converted over to Kodiaks last fall and I utilize Tie Down 1.98 dust caps. I keep my boat on the trailer next to the ramp and don't normally tow very far. In the past 3 months I have lost 4 dust caps on the same wheel. It seems like whenever I trailer anywhere I arrive minus the same frigging dust cap. It's the front axle on the drivers side.(with the new brakes)

I pulled the wheel today and reinstalled everything. Any suggestions?

Slightly warm but not hot. But then again I only towed it 20 miles or so.

just thinking maybe a warmer than normal hub may cause it to loosen up?

I have had two fall off and when I tried to get them back on I end up splitting them in two. Now I am missing two. My trailer needs some TLC.

I got 6 more Tie Downs on order now and should be here in a few days. I think I'll try using a piece of pvc pipe. If it doesn't seal I'l try some teflon tape to see if it helps. Thanks guys.

This is amazing. We can put a man on the moon but I can't manage to tow my boat around the block without throwing a dust cap!
