Hauled Ms. Char back down to OI looking for Stripers this time. The Stripers flew right past Ches Bay and the VA Beach area altogether. Had a delayed start bc of the crowds at the launch, the most crowded I have ever seen. I have to give KUDO's to the NCWRC for greatly controlling what could have been a very bad clash of tempers in an attempt to get on the water.
Weather was good 5 to 15 NW, but cold hovering around mid 30's. Water temp was 40. Launched at 8:30 and recovered at 12:30 with a 6 healthy sized fish limit. Fishing was awesome and had a great time. Thanks go out to Joey and Gary for making it a memorable trip, and as always, Ms. Char did not disappoint.
