I have been on the site for several months, trying to make a decision about a new boat. (And OBTW, thanks for all the great advice I got.) Finally ordered a new 1801 from Dare Marina in Yorktown VA. They are not the closest dealer to me, but I have known Mike Hanna for fifteen years. I knew that they would treat me right! Took delivery of the boat last week. Photo attached - my grandson is excited about the newer, bigger boat! He and his sister decided to name the boat Traveler. We name everything. I'm going through engine break-in etc. Taking half a day off tomorrow to go burn some more gas. This is a fishing boat, mostly for catfish, and I'm getting set to hang some rods out next week. Look for me and Traveler on the James, from downtown to Hopewell.
