new 2300 hp rating ????

Hull is supposedly rated for 300 HP. On the outboard bracket its clearly marked " Maximum 250 HP ". So is it 300 or 250????? If I sold the 250 Yami and hung a new 300 E-Tec, would I void warranties or wreck anything??

good question for Parker. it may be because of the weight of the Yam 300 and them not accounting for another manufacturer since all parkers come factory rigged with only yamadogs.

I believe they rate the notched transoms for 300, and the brackets for 250.
