Hello all.
Took delivery of a new 2320SL a few months ago, and I have a question....
Tides changed on me big time in the slip and I dinged up the edge of the swim platform rubbing against a piling. I can do the repair and assumed it was gelcoat. Dealer is telling me it's white paint and said I could sand and rattle-can it. My hull is factory bright white. Has anyone else done a repair like this and can recommend a brand and shade of paint that will work best? Its just a cosmetic repair, so I was going to wet sand lightly for prep.

I just bought some white rustolem from home depot. Not an exact match but within a month or so it blends right in. I usually have to hit a spot or two every spring during make ready

You did not say.....But I assume it has a engine bracket and that is what your talking about?

It's made of alum.

You might find that Suzuki lower unit touch up (spray can) will be a close enough match to the bracket. I get mine at the Yamaha dealership.
