After 13 years as a 25' Chesepeak Steiger owner I have decided to purchase a 2013 2820 Parker. I have included some pics (have more but didn't want to bore you with them) of projects I have done to enhance my new ride.
Evan though I am extremely happy with the new ride there are some items which I find could use improvement.
Why are the hatches hinged at the top? Need one hand just to hold the hatch open when looking for something.
For a boat that is probably used more for fishing than cruising, there is no rod storage in the cabins especially for rods over 6 foot.
Shelf storage in the aft cabin is non existent.
On the driver's side dasboard there is no lip to stop stuff from falling off.
Even though floor storage in the forward and aft cabin is large, both bins need false floors to be useful other wise you would block the drain tunnels and the bilge pump float.
All that being said it is a truely great boat and I am seriously enjoying every day that I get to spend on it.
