I would appreciate some advice on outriggers. I am thinking of installing on the side of the cabin and not on top.
We keep the boat in dry storage so do I need the collapsible type so they don't extend out the back too far when laid down?
Also are backing plates needed for inside the cabin?
What length do people usually install?
I plan on using them for wahoo, mahi, yellowfin etc.
Any brands preferred?
Also is installation a do it yourself thing or is professional help needed?
Thanks in advance for your help!
