This is the first boat I've owned, a 18 Parker. I love but I noticed there is a small crack in the deck. Can I paint it and if so should I remove the console?
Should I gelcoat it? Looking for any advice here. Thanks

i will be sanding my deck down this winter and painting it wit algrip with all the info i gathered i find it will be easier to work with and last just as long in my situation

The cracks will need to be ground into and repaired. Painting over them .......they will show back in a month.

When you Really get down there and look.....There are Always more cracks than you think.

what is the best paint for matching the off white color of the parker?

I know it’s frustrating but deck cracks in Oarkers are a common occurrence.
